At Castillo Electric Distribution, we’re committed to getting your products where they need to go—on time and in good condition. Whether it’s a last-minute job site delivery or a scheduled bulk shipment, our goal is to make the shipping process as smooth and reliable as the products we supply.

Please review the following terms and guidelines regarding shipping, delivery, and handling

 

Shipping Methods

We offer multiple shipping and delivery options based on order size, location, and urgency, including:

  • Standard Ground Delivery
  • Local Job Site Delivery
  • Will Call / In-Store Pickup
  • Freight or LTL Shipping (for oversized items)

Shipping method will be confirmed at the time of order. Additional charges may apply depending on weight, volume, distance, and delivery conditions.

Delivery Locations

We deliver to:

  • Commercial and industrial sites
  • Residential job sites (if accessible and confirmed)
  • Warehouses and storage facilities
  • In-store pickup at designated CED locations

Please ensure someone is available to receive and inspect deliveries. Failed delivery attempts may result in rescheduling fees.

Shipping Lead Times

Most in-stock items ship within 1–3 business days from order confirmation. Special-order or backordered items may require additional lead time, which will be communicated at the time of purchase.

Title and Risk of Loss

All shipments are F.O.B. (Free on Board) origin, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. This means that ownership and risk of loss transfer to the customer once the goods leave our facility or are handed to the carrier.

Damaged or Missing Items

All deliveries should be inspected immediately upon arrival.

  • If your order arrives with visible damage or appears incomplete, notify the driver and document the issue on the delivery receipt.
  • Contact us within 2 business days to report any shipping-related problems.
  • Please retain all packaging materials in case an inspection or return is needed.

Failure to report issues within this window may limit our ability to resolve the issue.

Freight Charges & Responsibilities

Shipping costs are calculated based on the carrier's rates and are typically invoiced with the order. Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate delivery details
  • Being available during delivery windows
  • Ensuring safe and legal site access

Additional charges may apply for re-delivery, lift-gate service, or remote destinations.
