At Castillo Electric Distribution, we stand behind the quality of the products we supply. While we do not manufacture the items we distribute, we are committed to helping our customers navigate warranty claims and ensure you receive the support you need when a product doesn't perform as expected.

This policy outlines the general terms and conditions related to product warranties.

Manufacturer Warranties

Most products sold by Castillo Electric Distribution come with a manufacturer’s warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

  • Warranty coverage and length vary by brand and product type.
  • Products must be installed and used according to the manufacturer’s instructions to remain eligible.
  • Castillo Electric Distribution will assist in facilitating warranty claims with the manufacturer when applicable.

What’s Covered

Manufacturer warranties generally cover:

What’s Not Covered

Warranties typically do not cover:

  • Improper installation or use outside of recommended guidelines
  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, accident, or modification
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic damage (unless directly related to a defect)
  • Labor costs, removal, or reinstallation fees (unless specified by the manufacturer)

Castillo Electric Distribution does not provide labor warranties or additional guarantees unless expressly stated in writing.

Submitting a Warranty Claim

To begin a warranty claim, please provide the following:

  • Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)
  • Product model and serial number (if applicable)
  • Description of the issue or defect
  • Photos of the product and/or installation, if requested

Limitation of Liability

Castillo Electric Distribution does not offer any warranties beyond those provided by the manufacturer. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from product failure or misuse. Total liability is limited to the purchase price of the item in question.
